Baltic · Hermétique The Rift 37 mm
Strengths
Giving an unusual dial two sizes is a good idea. I would choose by fit: the edition's scarcity cannot compensate for awkward proportions.
Things to consider
A 42-hour reserve will not cover a full weekend. The −10/+30 seconds per day range is Miyota's specification, not our measurement of the watch.
Panerai · Luminor Tourbillon GMT Titanio
Strengths
A rare open tourbillon that remains a functional travel watch: six days of reserve, true GMT and 100-metre water resistance.
Things to consider
The 47 mm case, busy skeleton display and roughly EUR 160,000 price make an in-person fitting and boutique availability check essential.
