Why it is interesting

An appealing reason to choose affordable mechanics for their design: the case and dial are the attraction.

Things to consider

Mineral glass; the compact 36 mm size will not suit everyone. Price is for the US market.

The model in detail

A white dial and applied Breguet numerals give the Chatham character without complex functions. Polished steel meets black leather; lug-to-lug length is 44.5 mm.

The automatic Miyota 8215 delivers around 42 hours of running time. An exhibition back reveals the movement; the US price of TW2Y84300 was $289 when checked.

The compromises are clear: mineral glass and a stated accuracy of −20/+40 seconds per day. Despite its compact width, the 12 mm thickness calls for a fitting.
