Trilobe · Château Trente-Deux
The model in detail
Meet the watch
Château Trente-Deux has no conventional pair of hands. Hours, minutes and seconds follow separate rotating rings, while the eye looks for fixed pointers. The burgundy surface adds warmth, but the real reason to pause is the way time is read. This is a watch for someone interested in learning a familiar action anew.
The name refers to Trilobe's workshop address: 32 avenue de l’Opéra in Paris. The Château version was introduced on September 2, 2026. Wine supplies an image of colour and craft here; it should not be credited with additional functions. In my view, rich burgundy supports the unusual display geometry and makes it feel less cold.
Inside is the automatic X-Nihilo. The manufacturer states Parisian development and production; its decoration combines different textures with a gold-toned 5N treatment. Through the sapphire back, the movement warrants a separate look: open architecture and a highlighted balance create a visual centre where an ordinary automatic can look like an accumulation of overlapping bridges.

A steel case measuring 39.5 mm across and 10.15 mm thick makes the idea relatively compact. Trying it on still matters more than diameter: the integrated bracelet determines the fit. An ordinary leather strap from another collection will not fit; Trilobe offers a dedicated rubber option separately. That is a meaningful limitation for anyone who enjoys frequent strap changes.
Power reserve is 42 hours. The practical implication is simple: take it off on Friday evening and it will probably need winding and resetting by Monday. The checked international page lists €17,500 excluding tax and an Unavailable/Sold out status. That is an official catalogue reference, not a confirmed immediate-delivery offer. Availability must be checked with the brand.
