SICURA · Hexa 400 Sea Green
The model in detail
Two bezels do two different jobs. The Sicura Hexa 400’s outer ring helps measure minutes, while the inner ring shows a second time zone using the same hour hand. The upper crown controls the internal scale; the lower handles winding and time setting. The Sea Green review published on October 29 provides a reason to examine this construction separately: a green dial refreshes an existing family.
The internal scale runs on a 12-hour cycle, so day and night in the other city must be distinguished by the wearer. In return, no separate GMT hand or additional movement transmission is needed. Both crowns screw down; a black ceramic bezel insert sits outside, with antireflective sapphire at the front. The manufacturer states 400 m water resistance.
EnlargeTwo-colour lume separates the external bezel scale from the dial’s principal indications.
© SICURA · SourceThe automatic Sellita SW200 in élaboré execution runs at 4 Hz and provides at least 38 hours of reserve. The interest lies in organising functions around a familiar movement rather than a new base calibre. Familiar architecture helps when seeking qualified service, though repair terms and parts availability still need checking with the chosen workshop.
The green reference is H400.SS.A.40ATM.04.SS, priced at €1,450 on the brand’s European storefront. Detailed specifications give a 40 mm steel case, 14 mm thick, with bracelet clasp micro-adjustment. That is substantial thickness for this diameter, but adjusting bracelet fit during the day has more direct practical value than the depth number on the dial alone.
