Why it is interesting

Onyx and a silk strap give this two-hand model a clear evening character without additional complications.

Things to consider

Its 30-metre water resistance and supplied straps make it primarily a watch for a dry urban setting.

The model in detail

Reported on October 16, the Fears Arnos Opera Black builds on contrasting materials. Its rectangular onyx dial frames a white lacquer circle, with elongated Roman numerals filling the space between them. A curved case and crystal preserve the Arnos's slim silhouette.

The automatic Sellita SW1000-1b is adapted to display hours and minutes only and offers 46 hours of reserve. Two black straps are supplied: Epsom calf leather and Grosgrain silk. The official UK price is £4,350 including VAT; the model is not limited.
