Renaud Tixier · Monday Skeleton Blue
The model in detail
The most interesting action in the Monday Skeleton happens inside its micro-rotor. A platinum flywheel is coupled to the “dancer” spring, harvesting wrist-motion energy and helping sustain rotation. A declutching mechanism provides protection during a shock. This is a specific investigation of automatic winding; skeletonisation lets you see the idea that underpins the Monday.
The RVI2025 comprises 262 components. The manufacturer singles out 238 hand-finished inward angles: areas requiring a craftsperson’s attention that help explain the labour involved. More important than the component count is how light travels through several movement levels. Here, the open architecture becomes the dial’s central subject.

Blue elements help separate the indications from their mechanical background, but checking hand contrast under ordinary indoor lighting would be useful before buying. A high price does not remove the basic requirement to read the time without searching for the right silhouette.
Reserve is at least 72 hours and water resistance is 30 m. It makes sense to treat the Monday as a collector’s watch for relatively gentle daily use. The official product card lists pricing on request. Our interest is the winding architecture and handwork; neither a small edition nor the creators’ reputation establishes future liquidity.
