A. Lange & Söhne · Datograph Perpetual

Strengths

The point is not additional functions but a different way to wear a complicated Lange: a platinum bracelet makes the classic calendar chronograph a continuous precious-metal object.

Things to consider

A 36-hour reserve imposes a strict routine on a perpetual calendar. Fully wound and removed on Friday evening, it will not reach Monday.

NOMOS Glashütte · Club 38 / Club 38 Ruthenium

Strengths

The most useful part of this launch is the choice of fit. Club 38 stays slim, and the display-back premium can be considered separately from the choice of dial.

Things to consider

53 hours will not cover Friday evening to Monday morning. Rotating watches will require winding or resetting the time.
