The appeal lies in everyday details: a light case, 65 hours of running and an adjustable clasp. If an in-house calibre is not essential to you, AirField looks like an intriguing option.

AirField has a 40 mm case, worth trying if you favour large watches. Surface hardening does not protect against all damage. Shipping is planned for late October; price depends on the strap and order conditions.

Strengths
Spectre hides its main symbol on the rotor and keeps a calm black dial. Bond chooses blue waves and a titanium bezel. Mechanically they are equal: choose the look and fit rather than expecting a new calibre.
