The 321 appeals through its historic architecture and the visible movement behind its sapphire back. The compact “Ed White” silhouette and early Speedmaster details make this a considered choice for a mechanical-watch enthusiast.

Things to consider

Try the 48 mm lug-to-lug length and 13.7 mm thickness on your wrist. Manual winding and a 55-hour reserve call for a habit; water resistance is 5 bar. Modern Moonwatch 3861 specifications should not be transferred to the 321.

For everyday wear, I like the light Alabaster. If you switch watches frequently, the separate 9085 version deserves a look: its power reserve is considerably longer.
