Why it is interesting

A sensible introduction when classic appearance matters more than sporting specifications. The saving feels coherent: buy this for its design and the pleasure of wearing it.

Things to consider

Mineral glass and 30 m water resistance are the main compromises. For swimming or rough use, I would choose a different format.

The model in detail

The Bambino’s strongest attraction is its restrained proportions. A 38.4 mm diameter and white dial leave room for a suit, a shirt or ordinary city clothing. There is no complicated display to explain: it is an approachable entry into mechanical watches.

The automatic F6724 can be wound through the crown, and its seconds hand stops during setting. Around 40 hours of reserve means it will probably need restarting after an unworn weekend. That small ownership ritual is worth accepting before buying.

The domed mineral crystal gives it an expressive profile, but it is not sapphire. Water resistance of 30 m and a leather strap also define its intended use. The $295 figure is the US store’s displayed price, rather than the final cost of buying in Uzbekistan.
