Citizen · Series 8 GMT Damascus Limited Edition
The model in detail
Meet the watch
The NB6092-01E first invites a close look at textures. Multilayer Damascus steel creates waves on the central case section, while short forged-carbon fibres give the dial its irregular pattern. The gold colour comes from a coating; the case contains no solid gold. Together, these materials give Series 8 a bold appearance.
The automatic Citizen 9054 is familiar from Series 8, including the NB6036-52N introduced in 2024. Here it retains 4 Hz, 24 jewels, around 50 hours of power and manual winding. For the NB6092-01E, materials and styling were updated while that mechanical base remained.
The main practical feature is Traveler GMT. When changing time zones, the local hour hand can move forwards or backwards in one-hour steps without changing the minute, seconds or 24-hour hands. Home time remains on the additional hand, and the date follows local time. The rotating 24-hour bezel allows a further zone to be read. This arrangement is particularly convenient for travel: correcting local time does not interrupt the watch's running.
Details and limitations
The case measures 41 mm across and about 13.5 mm thick. It is a substantial sports format worth trying before buying. Sapphire with antireflective coating, luminous hands and markers complement the practical layout; the movement is visible through a display back. Stated magnetic resistance is 16 000 A/m. The dark leather strap visually softens the substantial gold-coloured case.
The global announcement was published on 24 September 2026. It plans a run of 1 300 pieces for October 2026 and gives a provisional US$2 200 price. That is guidance from an international press release; Uzbekistan price and availability are not stated.
