Why it is interesting

The brighter case makes the material’s weave easier to appreciate, while the bespoke typeface keeps the H08 recognisable.

Things to consider

Try the 39 mm-wide square case on: it wears differently from a round watch with the same diameter.

The model in detail

Hermès has brightened the H08’s braided glass-fibre case: its coating retains aluminium but drops the previous slate component. The white version has a white lacquered dial; the blue model pairs a rhodium-plated background with Bleu de Malte accents. The distinctive rounded numerals remain.

The case measures 39 mm wide and 10.6 mm thick. Vaucher-made automatic H1837 delivers 50 hours of power reserve. With 100-metre water resistance and a rubber strap, the H08 retains its practical sporting character; both versions cost $8,600 in the US.
