Why it is interesting

The most intriguing detail hides in the calendar: the symbol appears on just one day each month.

Things to consider

Despite a 41 mm diameter, the case is 14.8 mm thick, which matters when choosing a watch for a shirt cuff.

The model in detail

The Year of the Goat begins on 6 February 2027, but IWC has already introduced its dedicated Performance Chronograph 41. A ceramic tachymeter bezel frames the gold-coloured dial and black counters. The case itself is titanium rather than gold.

On the back, a gold-plated rotor depicts three goats. There is a calendar surprise too: on the eighth day, a Chinese character for goat replaces the numeral. Automatic calibre 69385 delivers 46 hours of power reserve; the European price is €13,100.
