Why it is interesting

An unusual display at this price combines with a slim case, giving the model appeal beyond its visual effect.

Things to consider

The moving hour aperture will take adjustment after a conventional two-hand dial.

The model in detail

The Papar Vuelte appeared in reports on October 15–16. Its hour display travels around the dial, while a mostly hidden black minute hand leaves its red tip visible. The signature crescent changes colour; the black-and-white photograph shows the actual fit on a wrist.

The base is an automatic Miyota 9039 with approximately 42 hours of reserve. The octagonal steel case measures 38 mm wide and 8.8 mm thick, with 100-metre water resistance. The first batch comprises 100 numbered examples at $1,150 each, sold through Time+Tide.
