Why it is interesting

Hand decoration changes the familiar model’s visual character, while the 68-hour calibre remains a practical foundation.

The model in detail

Farer and Chris Alexander, working as The Dial Artist, have brought New York subway mosaics to the Resolute III. A laser first defines the tile pattern, before the artist adds a grout-effect wash and coloured bands. Farer says the handwork on each dial takes six hours.

The 25-piece edition is reserved for in-person sale at Windup New York on October 16–18, 2026, at US$1,650. The steel case measures 39 mm across and 11.8 mm thick; inside is an automatic La Joux-Perret G101 soignée with 68 hours of power reserve. Water resistance of 100 m and a screw-down crown retain the Resolute’s everyday character.
