The model in detail
The M.A.D.2’s two raised discs recall a DJ’s turntables. Eric Giroud translates 1990s club culture into a readable watch composition: the hour jumps while minutes travel on their own disc. REDemption’s red background makes the layout especially contrasting. It is a good reason to judge a watch through interface design as well as the origins of its base movement.
The automatic La Joux-Perret G101 receives a bidirectional jumping-hour module developed by MB&F. Frequency is 4 Hz and reserve is 64 hours. The surrounding “platter” genuinely participates in automatic winding, giving hand movement a visible response. This connects shape and function, keeping the musical theme from becoming merely a dial illustration.

Trying it under a cuff and viewing it obliquely matter more than an impressive overhead photograph. Water resistance of 30 m and a leather strap suggest urban use. This is an object for enjoying mechanics; it need not accompany every activity.
REDemption’s defining feature is the buying process. The manufacturer reserves it for people who entered at least four earlier raffles without winning; eligible clients are contacted directly. Open access for everyone cannot be promised. On the secondary market, assess the individual set and price separately: scarce access to ordering does not establish the value of a premium.
