Why it is interesting

A skeleton with its own rhythm and a technical reason for it. Quick bracelet changes add flexibility.

Things to consider

The 1/10-second indicator is not a chronograph; protect ceramic from hard impacts.

The model in detail

The small indicator at six is always in a hurry: a full turn takes ten seconds. It displays the activity of a high-frequency 5 Hz movement. That gives the dial rhythm, but does not make the Skyline Skeleton a chronograph. Timing a separate interval with start and stop controls is a different function that this model does not provide.

The automatic El Primero 3620 SK offers 55 hours of reserve. In the January 2026 edition, the exposed movement receives gold-toned finishing against black ceramic. Colour must not be confused with solid-gold bridges: the official case material is ceramic, and the movement description refers to a finishing tone. Four-pointed architecture connects the modern construction with Zenith’s emblem.

A 41 mm case and ceramic bracelet create a continuous black silhouette. Ceramic retains its surface well in ordinary contact, but hardness does not mean immunity to impact damage. A rubber strap is included and changes without tools. That is useful: the watch’s character can change without a visit to a watchmaker.

Stated water resistance is 10 ATM. The release quotes CHF16,900, €19,100 and US$18,900: published regional guides that need rechecking at purchase. In my view, the model is particularly interesting for someone who wants to see high frequency in action. A buyer who prioritises instant reading over visible motion may prefer a less open dial.
