OMEGA · Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Edition / Spectre Edition
The model in detail
Meet the watch
The most interesting detail of OMEGA’s new collection is visible through the caseback. The James Bond Edition rotor becomes the familiar gun-barrel motif with 007; the Spectre Edition rotor gains an octopus. The Seamaster Diver 300M collection was unveiled on 5 October 2026, James Bond Day. There are six references: two individual steel models and four versions forming two collector’s sets.
James Bond Edition 210.30.42.20.03.004 continues the blue Seamaster line. The dial is aluminium with laser-engraved waves. Its unidirectional bezel insert is Grade 5 titanium with a raised minute scale. The mesh bracelet and case are steel: the bezel is the titanium part here. Blue waves retain the familiar Bond connection, while the silver-coloured bezel noticeably changes the overall look.
Spectre Edition 210.30.42.20.01.023 looks more restrained, with a black grained dial, black ceramic bezel insert and the same raised scale. The octopus stays on the rotor, keeping the collection’s main symbol away from the time display. On both models, the minute hand and bezel dot glow green; the other hands and hour markers glow blue. This helps distinguish the minute-timing reference in darkness.

Both models use the automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8806: 3.5 Hz, 55 hours of reserve, a silicon hairspring and stated resistance to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss. METAS certification applies to the Master Chronometer. The movement is familiar from other Diver 300M models; its decorative execution has changed here. The rotor is the moving weight for automatic winding, so the gun-barrel or octopus motif alters a working component’s appearance rather than adding a watch function.

Water resistance is 30 bar / 300 m, with a domed sapphire crystal in front and a transparent back. When trying them on, I would focus on case length and height: 42 alone does not tell the whole fit story. There is no date, and the 55-hour reserve allows about two days off the wrist; a longer break may require winding and resetting the time.
Collectors have two sets, each limited to 77 pairs with matching numbers within the pair. The James Bond Limited Edition contains steel 210.30.42.20.03.005 and platinum-gold 210.83.42.20.03.001. The Spectre Limited Edition contains steel 210.30.42.20.01.029 and platinum-gold 210.83.42.20.01.001. The precious-metal versions have 18K white-gold dials: a blue gun-barrel pattern for Bond and a grey octopus pattern for Spectre. Their mechanical basis remains the 8806.
OMEGA’s official US website prices each individual steel model at 8,600 USD and each limited two-watch set at 89,800 USD. The sets include a NATO strap, changing tool, loupe, accessories and travel items. On the checking date, 5 October 2026, neither individual steel version is available to buy online in the US catalogue; availability notifications and boutique contact are offered. Both price and status refer to the US, not Uzbekistan.
The black Spectre interests me most: it has the quietest dial and the most unexpected movement view. The blue Bond is closer to the familiar Seamaster image and nicely distinguishes its aluminium dial from its titanium bezel. The choice is between two characters on one mechanical platform. The limited pairs offer different materials and finishing, but no reason to buy for a new calibre.
