Hamilton · Khaki Field Murph 38mm Blue
The model in detail
Hamilton's Murph line grew from watches created for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. Blue Murph, announced on 1 September 2026, develops that look: the blue dial centre fades to an almost black edge, with grainy texture recalling stardust. Cathedral hands and Arabic numerals preserve the model's recognisable character. The space theme is expressed through colour and texture, while the clean three-hand layout stays familiar.
The familiar automatic H-10 with Nivachron hairspring remains. The titanium-based alloy reduces magnetic fields' influence on the rate; stored energy lasts 80 hours. A full wind gives more than three days. Blue Murph's novelty lies in its dial: another colour did not require reinventing the mechanics.
Both versions have a 38 × 11.1 mm steel case, sapphire with antireflective coating and a display back. The H70405740 comes on black leather with white stitching; the H70405140 on a steel bracelet. Leather supports Murph's classic look, while the bracelet makes it sportier. A 20 mm lug width is convenient for choosing straps.
As of 30 September 2026, Hamilton's official US catalogue lists US$995 for the leather H70405740 and US$1 045 for the bracelet H70405140. Both belong to the current collection. These are US-market prices; cost in Uzbekistan depends on the local seller.
